Road trips are a summer staple, but they definitely come
with a few bumps in the road. Here are some tips to keep your road trip
memorable for the good moments, and to avoid the bad.
- 1. Get your car serviced
- Getting your car checked out is
before you leave is the easiest way to ensure a good trip. After all, who wants
their car to breakdown halfway through?
- 2. Take Breaks
- Driving for fifteen hours straight
will not only tire you out, but it will also slow down your reaction time. Stop
to take a coffee break, stretch, take a nap, or see the sights.
- 3. Bring a Repair Kit
- If your car does break down, you want to be prepared. Bring a basic kit with duct tape, a few differently sized screwdrivers, vice grips, and bailing wire. Don’t forget your spare tire!
Most importantly, relax and have fun!
